The people of this area consist of viking-esque dragonkin. The capital Valhalla sits atop 6 plateaus, A larger one in the center surrounded by 5 smaller ones.
The larger plateau in the center is simply known as The Throne, for at its center and highest point lies the Chiefs Grand Hall wherein resides the current High Chief of the large dragonkin tribe that rules this realm. The Throne houses the cities nobles and their respective extravagant abodes. The remaining mesas are separated by purpose. The Outsider, this mesa houses all the cities foreign populace, though that does not mean non-dragonkin do not also reside outside of The Outsider, this plateau is a result of a clash of cultures between the brutish dragonkin and everyone else. The Loot is the cities market district, quite typical in terms of layout and content. The Rabble is a slum where even the bravest dragonkin dare to enter, home to a notorious underworld boss, this plateau serves as a black market for illegal items, not that much is outlawed in the city as it is anyway. The Spire consists of typical housing and among them lies an inverted tower, as opposed to going up, this tower was built into the ground, penetrating the mesa from above. As of now, only half of The Spire is under dragonkin control. The dragonkin dug deep, and in the deep they found the duergar, evil dwarves. As the duergar have the power to grow as large as ogres or turn invisible at will, they quickly fought their way to the surface and took half of The Spire, but their vulnerability to the sun has halted their advance almost entirely. The battle continues daily with occasional skirmishes, but as a whole it remains a stalemate. The Spire satisfies the dragonkins thirst for battle quite well however, it is likely the reason the dragonkin get along with the other races. It is considered a rite of passage to serve on The Spire as soon as a dragonkin reaches the age of military service, which is mandatory. The Gauntlet is home to the dragonkins military infrastructure. The entirety of The Gauntlet is dedicated to the dragonkins military. There are many elevators going down to the ground level, at least one in every district.

The ground level of the realm is teeming with dinosaurs of all kinds, from raptors to brontosaurus. Long ago the dinos would feed on the smaller dragonkin, hence the reason behind living on top of the mesas. Even with the danger, members from all races create outposts on the ground level for research, hunting, mining(although very carefully), foresting, fishing, and the very rare farm from time to time.
